Traveling from Alaska to Antarctica Michael spends many months every year documenting the natural world both on film and video. A native of Colorado, he has been a professional wildlife/nature photographer/videographer for the past 17 years. Michael has always had a passion for the outdoors, growing up in the San Juan Mountains of Southwest Colorado he spent all of his free time in the mountains exploring, hiking, hunting and fishing.

Shortly after graduating from college with a bachelor of science degree in Environmental Biology Michael picked up his first professional camera and began to capture the natural world on film. Some of his credits include: Outdoor Photographer, Ranger Rick, Outdoor Life, Bugle Magazine, Bowhunter, Rocky Mountain Game and Fish, Backpacker Magazine, Adventure West, Voyageur Press Books, Colorado Outdoors, Wyoming Wildlife, Ducks Unlimited.

In addition, to his editorial work he shoots many corporate projects some of his clients include: Dick's Sporting Goods, Adventure Medical Kits, Princeton Tec, Katadyn, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife.

Michael also shot video and or produced video for clients such as Versus, Warren Miller, Discovery Channel, Natural History New Zealand and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife.
